(Kuala Lumpur, 11th) The Malaysian Buddhist Youth Association (MYB) clarified that no one from the Malaysian Buddhist community participated in the “Buddhist Refugee Patriotic Declaration: Protect Taiwan, Resist Power” recently signed by the Central Taiwan Professors Association/Yunlin Citizen Action Alliance.
MYB also called on the administrator of the Google Form to make relevant adjustments to the form’s signature procedures and list as soon as possible, so as to avoid legal liability for misappropriation of names by those with ulterior motives. MYB issued a statement saying that many Buddhist masters and laypeople from the Malaysian Buddhist community are currently listed on the list of signatories of the Google Form.
